What Have Rivertown Kids Been Doing?
April 2012
Volunteers for Peace Conference
We spent a beautiful Saturday afternoon at the Lamont Estate in Ossining, NY performing for the Volunteers for Peace Conference on April 21st. We were excited perform Banks of Marble, a song we really think has something important to say, for the very first time!
Thank you to Beth Lamont and Andrew Bell for hosting us so graciously. We enoyed ourselves very much.

The Rivertown Kids and their families and friends celebrated Rivertown Kids Day with an afternoon of photography, music and food. Our celebration included a visit from Mayor Gold, a photography lesson and slideshow with Susan Hereth, and music with Dan, Travis and David. Writing for Human Rights
In honor of Human Rights Day, a group of us got together to join in on Amnesty International's 'Write for Rights' international letter writing campaign. We composed fifteen letters! We also had the opportunity to preview the CD release of Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Celebrating 50 Years of Amnesty International. We were excited to hear all 75 songs sung by 80 artists, including our song, Forever Young, which we recorded with our inspiration, Pete Seeger.
DECEMBER 2011
Howland Center Holiday Hoot
The Howland Cultural Center's annual Holiday Hoot was so much fun. We performed, for the first time, You and Me, a wondeful song that Travis Jeffrey wrote for us. The whole show was great and we had a terrific time hanging out on the staircase dancing and singing during the other performances. The Howland Cultural Center is very special to us and we love performing there! Thanks to Chris Ruhe for inviting us.
